Death Wish

So tonight my friend treated me to a movie-going experience! We saw Death Wish, a remake of the original Death Wish movie with Charles Bronson.

Bruce Willis did a good job although the movie lacked the edge it could have had.

The movie raises many good points when it comes to self defense.

One thing that wasn’t too credible about the character is the fact that the doctor had street smarts and experience surviving in Chicago as a younger kid but for some reason didn’t have any weapons at home.

At some point the police inspector brings up the fact that most shootings in Chicago [in fact all over urban America], are gang related and it’s black on black, gangster on gangster type of shootings. This is very true, based on all the research and stats.

Overall, the movie makes a good case for having your own personal firearm and being able to defend yourself both at home and while on the street.
