Absolutely not.
Any fall in price should be seen as a buying opportunity. Bobby Lee, head of BTCC (Bitcoin China), one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, once said of Bitcoin "Once its price has risen far enough and it has proven itself as a store of value, people will start to use it as a currency." Bitcoin China is to cease trading in China on 30th September 2017, however, bitcoin in China cannot be stopped. It may temporarily lead to a fall in trading by Chinese users and the price fell 36% on the news, but governments, at least not one acting alone, can not destroy bitcoin.
The only way to destroy bitcoin is to turn off the internet and nobody is going to do that.
