My wife and I have gone to the Byodo-In Temple twice—once by ourselves, then with our sons and their wives. The first time it was undergoing some kind of renovations so it was nice to be able to come back and actually go farther into the temple than we were able to the first time.
It is a very peaceful place, even with others around, but especially when few are there.
I am glad you enjoyed it. It is a very special place.
