Bad Weather dont help the Mission!

A catch up on the bug out bike ride,,,

Just as I packed up I thought it best to blog! I left the place I was at 'La Rapita' at 2pm and started to cycle. My question got answered, about travelling on a bike when a country is on Lockdown due to the Virus, whn I met this Spanish guy who is going from Murcia to The Pyranees.

He said he was stopped and questioned 3 seperate times yesterday morning by the police, but obviously he wasnt told to stay put because I met him.

I went past many abandoned places, and had to check one out inside.. Look at this then!

Someone had been occupying it, they had a matress and a self made fire place by a window..

Shortly after was 4 dead sea gulls, I have been seeing alot of dead birds on the side of the road and they dont seem to have any injurys from dying which is strange..

More huge abandoned buildings..

I didnt stop at these though.

I came to a Lidl and a campervan pulled up, I noticed they had a bike rack so I thought to ask where they were heading to, Murcia they said, 350km in the same direction, actually on the same road. Concidering the global situation I was sure they would give me a ride but they didnt want to because they said they didnt have room🤣 Its because they were french I guess lol.

Just up the road I saw an empty resturant/bnb with the sign on the wall..

The black symbol means an empty property and someone is occupying it..

I had to check out where the open door was, and found out and went inside. It was a bit to early to go to sleep, but this place was nice!

there were 5 rooms and multiple people could have lived there easy..

As it got dark, I ended up sleeping here in an old farmers building

Howling winds and rain throughout the night but we slept great, sad thing is its still doing the same now..

Signal is bad a battery is draining so thats it for now.

80 something km's to Castillo and then 100 more to Valencia and then I hope to get money and a train or something the rest of the way..
