#Build-it is a community, born out of the need to empower and strengthen DIY (do it yourself) projects, How-to tutorials and life hacks. Among many others, Build-it.io was set up as a means to encourage and reward high-quality DIY and How-to projects.
Our curation account on Build-it.io known as @build-it.curator is fully powered with BUILD tokens (approximately 90k build power) ready to reward all valid entries.
The Daily Build
Without a doubt, we're in awe of how active and fertile the steem platform is, in less than a month, we've had hundreds of users using our tags, and over 250 accounts holding our Build token on Steem engine. It is for this reason we've designed The Daily Build --- It will serve as a daily bulletin of manually curated articles and projects that use our recommended tags: #diy, #build-it, #how-to, #doityourself, #build.
It's nearly halloween and i had an idea to make a minicard. And now i would like to share to you how i made this creepy halloween minicard. All of the materials i use in this project are totally reused materials.
There are many such items used in daily life that we throw away as useless. But if we use our intelligence, and using a little brain can make them capable of reuse. There are many things around you that will be useless but they can be used in the right way. In this sequence, today I am going to discuss about how a bottle of coke is used correctly for household purposes.
An often neglected thing in the minds of homeowners is the lowly dryer vent. I found that this is true here in the house I just moved into. As you can see from the photo, the flexible aluminum pipe is almost completely closed off from having gone so long without cleaning.
To our surprise out Solar System at our new Tiny House was working. We were pleasantly surprised. We checked the voltage on each battery and they were all 6 volts and the water level was perfect.
One issue with building a nice tall hugelkultur bed or berm is that the mulch on the top often slides down the steep slopes of the structure. Plus, if your wild homestead has a lot of birds (especially robins!) then they will do what they can to help the mulch slide downhill. Since the top of a berm or hugelkultur bed is already the driest part this can make it difficult to get plants established.
In an attempt to fairly reward the authors, we've set 15% beneficiary for each of the featured authors, making it 75%. Additionally, 5% beneficiary is set to @null. The remaining 20% will be powered up to keep curating.
