@buildawhale will no longer take bids for dmania

I love memes as much as the next person, but I don't feel buying votes pump up five meme posts a day to $5-50 is good for the future of Steemit. It was that or banning users that only post memes.

Hold on a minute, wait a minute, calm down and listen to me. Nobody is saying you can't create a meme, nobody is saying you can't post a meme, all we saying you can't create a meme and use @buildawhale.

"I don't feel buying votes pump up five meme posts a day to $5-50 is good for the future of Steemit"

Why is pumping anything higher than it deserves good for the future of Steem?

I think you misread the message.

I disagree. The post said that a service that pumps up memes isn't helpful. How is that any different from pumping an essay that nobody thought was worth upvoting organically? Rewarding people with unearned upvotes in any form is toxic to the platform.

The majority of people posting memes are doing it because it is the lowest effort of content creation that is accepted right now.

If the community thinks it is amazing they will vote it up. I just won’t continue to reward thousands of people posting five memes a day to get maximum payout.

You are free to use any other bot that allows it. I just won’t.

My point is that ANY use of bots is gaming the system.

@themarkymark perfect logic, no one can deny your point!

Right @buildawhale, but please return my money, I sent it to you an hours ago, but forget to read this. Please...

It takes up to 2.5 hours to get a vote, be patient the window isn't finished and you don't need to wallet spam me.

Thanks... but "and you don't need to wallet spam me" what?
Sorry, I don't know about autoreply in @buildawhale's wallet.

Fair enough but isn't this just another post with a meme? I agree with you; it isn't not great content. But.... People are only abiding by the rules. If the rules allow it they will find a way to make money from it.

How is this just another post with a meme? This is an announcement...

An announcement about memes with a meme in it lol. Ok. Hope it does well.

ha ha ha.
waw .. I almost fill it, who knows we can share with each other.
and I am sure in the future you will continue to help me and other steemit friends.

I will be constantly following you🤗🙏

** Memes make us laugh happy, i like to see memes and videos related to meme.**

Like the following video.

RIP Low Effort Meme Posters.... but sadly RIP Honest Meme Posters.

They can still make memes and if they are awesome the community will upvote them.

thank you for the information @buildawhale .. I love your support. Hope you stay here ..

Very good decision by @buildawhale!

I completely support and welcome this step! As you said, I also love memes, however, I don't really see them as that much of content. Just my thoughts!

Looking forward to buildawhale team supporting some really good content!

Upvoted the decision 100%!

Cheers!

Follow me back if you like my comments/posts.

Why do you try like this? @buildawhale is a whale, which means it is a very important account here. He won't follow users like you or me, especially not since it is a bot, but even if it wouldn't be, it still won't follow people who comment asking for follow back.

@buildawhale you are a great creater blog and your content very nice i like your post

Thank you! This is a very good decision. I enjoy memes and 'tweets' but dmania and zapple legitimizes lazy posts on steemit. Just saying.

Listen to me. Nobody's saying you can't own a gun. Nobody's even saying you can't carry a gun. All we're saying is that you can't carry a gun in town.

Gun control never worked in the wild west, but @buildawhale lays down the law in the wild steemit. No more pumped dMania posts for you! @ironshield

Yea this is fair enough. I think we are all guilty of doing it. Such a new app that people are trying to promote their stuff with it to get a vote from dmania.

buildawhale You steemit post for the future five memes that we no longer can you pump up to $ 5 -10, 1 post for $ 1 to get new users do not earn. thanks for it

Nice post

Amazing Idea of the video

That's a nice initiative. Good to know that even bot owners think about the future of the Steemit. Thanks for updating and sharing the details.

I guess this is ok. Sadly it seems the only way to get to thrending on @dmania is to mass spam upvote bots. I am kinda guilty of trying the same but this should be OK since it will level up the playing field... a tiny bit.

Two words, beneficiary rewards.

please how much is your bid... @buildawhale

3 SBD to bid, 0.50 on @ipromote

how many percent of upvote do i get

Lol sir

Dmania has been quite lame from what I've seen.

Lol 😂

Its a good step ahead. Plz help support minnows for better steemit !!!

@buildawhale Why are you sending out very far from my usual send send me 3 sbd please you look back you have send it when you lose. I send like this.

I totally agree with you. It wouldnt be fair to those who are putting a lot of effort in writing their posts.

Baby steps. It's a move in the right direction which deserves applause.

Dmania is causing even more junk for the steem network. While the service is great, it is and will be abused.

I sent u 3 SBD plz vote my post. 1 hour ago..plz vote my post....

It takes up to 2.5 hours to get a vote, be patient.

thanks

Good on you for thinking about the future of the community. Never thought I would find a place where people with power would think that way. Thanks! :)

this is good information.

Im sorry but there is no skill in making bloody meme's. Don't need them in my life :)

thank you! good information!

I admire your post, interesting and nice to read to bring to mind somewhere else. if there is spare time kunjingalah my post,

You stole money from me! I send you a lot of SBDs for upvoting my content (which btw has nearly 100K YouTube-Subscribers!) You offer a service and when you receive the money you just put the highest bidders on a "blacklist" and just stole their money! And you did it weeks before you put me on YOUR blacklist.

BE AWARE OF BUYING VOTES FROM BUILDAWHALE!!

I answered on @nuoviso s complaint.
Thank you a lot for your efforts in sherlocking his activities! That is really not fun work. I appreciate that. I haven't voted so far for you as a witness which I consider to do now. I would like to know if you also have the necessary technical and infrastructural capabilities for the witness tasks without me having to do the search first. Like running a server day and night & stuff like that. Obviously you do have the social heart and I credit you for that.

Would appreciate a plain "yes" or "no" :-)

@nuoviso: It seems that since your account has been set up, you have only talked to yourself or used your marketing tools in series. This is - maybe you don't know - a social media platform - and not a wild west country, where you ram your claim into the ground and take out the gold. Even if it may seem like it. You've been digging through hundreds of SBDs here and haven't entered into a collaboration with any of these people. I haven't scrolled all the way to your beginning, but you didn't seem to have introduced yourself here. In general, your success on youtube and your own channel don't seem to be enough for you. Maybe it's not even seen as one from your perspective.

You seem to be like one of the people who keep their ethics outside when it comes to business. If the Business Lounge sign does not clearly state that unethical acts are forbidden or punished, does it mean that you can simply ignore normal and customary business practices?

It would be the same as going into a store and playing customers like cashiers at the same time. People like you seem to actually need a law. That's a pity because your Internet content looks so anarchic. The whole info-war that your site publishes and all the sensational stuff - there is pretended to be on the side of those who have to make themselves heard as fringe groups. Why haven't you make any serious attempts at cooperation here on the platform? In the end, you would have found real followers. It was just a bot army. You should think about how you use the cashed money you're spending and whether it's actually such a good feeling to have invested your time and energy in this way.

What you have pulled off here is immortalized in the blockchain, can damage your reputation and influence those who thought they could do good business with you. A Daniele Ganser, who can be seen on one of your cover pictures on Nuoviso, could be torn down together with your reputation. Have you ever thought about that?

The habits here on the site are the following:
if you already have content outside of steemit, talk about your business, get acquainted with your personal face and/or brand and your production company. You would have had every opportunity here to engage in honest marketing. It's just wrong to bang in on productions that have already been made and then throw on a huge voting machine. You do your part for people hating bots and fail to distinguish them.

Decentralizing doesn't mean anarchy - decentralized means that people take care of business ethics themselves without needing the written text of a law or a lawyer but within the huge framework of what is ethically acceptable and what is not. If you are just one of those who do not care then just don't come here.

It's as simple as that. If you DO need law and attorneys and judges: you have it up to the neck in all business models which are out there.

Please think about it. Thank you.

P.S. if you don't want to be robbed yourself of your SBDs, don't steal from the pool yourself.

Wow... yeah @themarkymark bro... why don't you let this guy Spam and Steal rewards in peace? he has like a youtube channel... and like thousands of subs... so that like... gives him the right...... it cancels out any concerns of ethics you might have right away because... youtube...

I like if you always upvote me1 😁😁

have a nice day

Was it actually positioned like that? It looks very deliberate, with a strong message: "I don't deserve to be thrown away! Someone pick me up, please. I need help!"

hahahah, meme is an art and freedom of expression, memes can also be entertaining but can also criticize

vidio very good information friends

How can i buy you bot? Please answer.

How many new users have those services brought to Steem? None...
How do they help Steem grow? They don't....
They are one of the biggest problems Steem has at the moment and nobody even sees it...

I believe that incredibly misguided thinking such as this is one of the biggest problems Steem has at the moment.

I personally have brought quite a few investors into the Steem platform who have invested over one hundred thousand dollars (and hopefully a lot more in the near future) specifically for the opportunity of investing their Steem into a voting a bot.

Additionally, voting bots provide a very valuable service to authors. I know because they are what gave me the start i needed on the platform. If it wasn't for voting bots I probably would not be here right now.

Voting bots provide a valuable service to users and actively attract investors to the platform (I'm literally meeting with a crypto fund this evening to present this opportunity). Find me anything else on here that can claim that!

Please look a little more carefully next time before claiming that content promotion services don't bring new users to Steem or help Steem grow, because in reality they do a great job of both of those things!

I did it because the amount of effort to create a meme is relatively low and there a crap ton of users making 5 memes a day and submitting bids for 5 SBD or more across many bots getting hundreds of dollars a day per account. Many of these users have tons of accounts doing this.

If they make a great meme, the community can reward it, I just don't think buying votes for it is good.

I have no hate for dMania, I just don't like seeing 50+ users a day buying upvotes for 5 posts a day that probably took them 5 minutes to make all of them, then doing it on 4-5 other accounts.

you give a good point, it possibel that one person makes 5 memes and then make it again on other accounts.

You ban only dMania and no meme authors on Steemit or decentmemes.

Did you even check anything before submitting that statement? His post before this one literally bans some users from using the buying of votes and @themarkymark has done a lot in the past to prevent abuse of it with manual curation which I wish others running vote selling services would do as well.

I voted this post up cause I believe it's a right direction in preventing people from buying votes for low effort copy-pasted "memes" which you yourself are encouraging due to the way your random voting bot curates.

I don't have anything against him banning users who use voting bots for the decentmemes tag either, there just isn't any incentive for them to use voting bots on those posts because there isn't a bot waiting to vote them up with delegation if they are on trending/hot list.

Hey @zombee ,
is there any way to get in touch with you? Have a short question about delegation SP to dmania (Seems like i cant get them back when i enter 0 SP)
