Crypto-Coin Bull Market...or...Bull Crap...???

in bullcrap •  6 years ago  (edited)

Well...here we go again for the what...third time in about a month or so that our "Bull Market" turned out to be just 'Bull Shit'...

As much as I would have loved for this little Bull Calf run up of the coin market over the past few days to have continued on, like at the turn of 2017 into early 2018, it has instead been petering out since about 10:30 p.m. UTC time.

BTC has dropped about $1,000. (10.08%) as indicated by https://CoinMarketCap.com within a few short hours today, and it is continuing to fall...

Our beloved STEEM has been loosing ground just as quickly unfortunately, now sitting at about 0.347058 (down 16.82%) from the days high.

Personally, I wasn't yet dancing and celebrating over the, so-called "Bull Market" like all those social media "experts" were doing (I refuse to mention any names - but, you know who they are...) These idiots are partly responsible for any of your FOMO buys that you see dropping like a rock right now...

Of course all these so-called experts will be saying..."I never told you to 'BUY', don't blame me for loosing your money."

They NEVER own up to their bullshit hype, excitingly pretending they know something you do not.

Oh...by the way... One of these clowns has stated 'according to his sources' that, this weekend will be a "Bitcoin/Crypto Boom Weekend" The guy opens his latest YouTube video cracking open a beer, appearing to have had a few too many before starting the broadcast.

Well...anything is possible...right??? We shall see... Maybe this FOMO run up has been sabotaged by some FUD now circulating around that suddenly scared the buyers into selling?

Maybe the manipulators are cashing out after the fake run-up...getting ready for the new low in order to start the whole thing all over again...???

WHO KNOWS...??? We shall see.

I'm outta here again my friends...see ya again soon. Have a fun day.

Ciao

I’m not sure who the one guy is that’s controlling the market so, we’ll just call him Richard—all I know is it’s just one guy. At least Richard has a new running height of around $220B, “thanks, Richard!” It was barely 5 weeks ago when Richard dropped it to $108B.

I don’t wanna be a Richard or anything but I think these rough landings are expected when the market cap increases $100B in two weeks.

Happy Friday, @angryman! 👍🏿

The name of the guy is Julio...A Costa Rican guy who fled the Country because of "too many Gringos" immigrating there from the U.S. He's now residing in China, operating a Bedding factory as a 'cover' for being a multi-billionaire, market manipulator.

We’re surrounded by Richard’s, @angryman, you and I both! How many times have I told you you couldn’t have picked a better handle for yourself? Well, add another one.

You know what though, sir? For real though. This country is swarmed with gringos, it’s really quite odd actually. I’m not sure how all of these white English speaking people are comfortable on the hill. One thing I wouldn’t do here or anywhere else is be another white guy English speaking guy on the hill. At some point it has to get difficult looking down on everyone. What do you think?

We’ll be here until at least the end of this year and then it’s off to somewhere with more diversity on the hill, angryman.

Good morning to you, sir, I hope you’re having a great weekend.

You know what though, sir? For real though. This country is swarmed with gringos,

I suspected as much @dandays ....from what I've been seeing on YouTube 'Retirement' videos.

Going back a number of years, I had a couple of friends contact me from down there (exploring relocation).... I never heard from them, ever again...!?!?!?!?

Lost in the JUNGLE?????? Oh CRAP......!!!!!!

One good thing about the false run, I was able to sell some of my steem monster card, as the price was falling for steem, so that meant I got a few extra portions of steem. I was also able to convert a few of the SBD's I had for almost a 3 steem to 1 sbd ratio, so that was good, a shame though it drop back to the low 2.800's for 1 SBD.

Hi @bashadow ... Good to hear from you.

I too converted some SBD recently at about the same rate as you, just in case Steem continued to pump up and have market orders in for the slide down.

I'm still a fan of Steem/Steemit, and don't wish ill upon either...only the best...

Right now the only effect the price of steem has for me is my ability to cast a halfway decent vote. But I was happy today with the price, sold enough cards and converted enough sbd's to get to 1500SP. That I am very happy with and will be more happy if it becomes valuable again. I'm back to a 3 cent 100% vote and a 1.5 cent 50% vote, so satisfied for now. Looking for a 2 cent vote at 33% so I can start voting comments again.

:>) Yeah...those 'comment' votes have really dwindled with the low values, I still comment vote, but not as much as I wish I could because of the 'dust' factor.

Yes, they really need to re-think the dust vote level when the price of steem is down, It should not be hard to lower the threshold to a .005 level during the depressed price times, but that will not happen because then god forbid the little accounts might vote for people other than the big accounts if they might get a reward.

Okay. So I have a question, which I'm only asking because your content sparked a memory of a YouTube video I watched last week.
Understand that while I understand the financial market, my knowledelge is more brokerage/lending. I only know enough about crypto currency to follow a conversation.
My question: Does this have anything to do with all of this hubbub I've been hearing about washing lately?

My question: Does this have anything to do with all of this hubbub I've been hearing about washing lately?

Anything is possible, but usually there is more than 'one' reason markets act screwy...

If you are referring to Wash Trading, that is supposed to be illegal in the US, with the IRS frowning upon it, as well as Washing of dirty money, but we all know that both activities go on regularly.

Rumor has it that the IRS is/has sent out letters of True Audit demands to all US Crypto Exchanges too...so, a scramble might be going on to accumulate real coin by the Exchanges in any way possible.

Thanks for commenting.

Yeap. It was"wash trading." Like I said, I don't know much but I try to follow along still. I figure that whatever happens, crypto currency and block chain has a future, and it will impact our future. But, I'm not going to hazard any guesses as to what those futures look like.

I don't care to postulate too much about the effects/affects the above might have on our future either @alliski ... Taking it all in stride leaves me less anxious.

It's more of a bull trap. Lots of profit taking. Because bitcoin doesn't pay any dividends the only way you can make money with it is to buy it and sell it. Other than for a very volatile store of value it's sort of useless if you aren't trading it.

Oh...I kind of 'like' that; might use the phrase in the future...???

I was thinking this bull run maybe short lived and it is starting to look that way.

Yes it certainly looks that way...but, maybe we'll have another in a few days???

Haha maybe 😁
