Ethereum and Bitcoin breaking records - what about the Ethereum gas fees?

in bullrun •  3 years ago

Ethereum is at an all-time high and so is Bitcoin. And in the midst of this, people are transferring Ethereum and other ERC-20 tokens like never before. This leads to high gas prices, meaning that you will often have to set the gas fee to 100 Gwei or even more to do transactions, at least during runs.

Many people expected the Ethereum London Fork to fix this problem, but it didn't. But, it made some changes causing the number of Ethereum moving around to become smaller as fees are mostly burned. This has a positive effect also on the price, and many people expect the Ethereum price to boom even more if the bull run will keep on going. In fact, many people have more faith in Ethereum than in its big brother, Bitcoin.

But, how can you save money as you transfer your Ethereum, ERC20 tokens, and interact with contracts on the Ethereum network? It is actually quite easy, and you can read more about it in this article: https://www.ipaddressguide.org/how-can-i-see-ethereum-gas-prices-easily-in-my-browser/

If you are incredibly rich, you might not care whether you pay $150 or $75 to trade on Uniswap, but most of us, want to trade tokens as cheaply as possible. And that is why paying attention to the actual gas prices can save you a lot of money, if you have the time to wait for the prices to drop!

Sometimes you don't, because you are in a hurry, and you have to spend $100s of dollars because you are in a hurry and you have to do your transactions right now. But, if you have some time extra, don't hurry up, but instead, pay attention to the actual gas prices and do your transactions when you only have gas prices between 40 and 60 Gwei. A couple of years ago that would have been a crazy Gwei as well, but right now, that is actually a quite decent and nice price.

Check the article above, and let us hope for a bull run that will take us into the new year with pockets full of cash and crypto!
