Cox’s Bazaar: A Rohingya child was hit by a van and died with critical injuries immediately in a makeshift camp of Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh on 11th January 2019, reports a Rohingya from the incident scene.
In the incident, an NGO van hit a dog to death at Lambashia makeshift camp of Kutupalong and later hit a couple of other Rohingya and chase them away.
Finally, the van belonging to the BRAC NGO hit a Rohingya child named to be Noor Qaidah, 4, D/O Abu Bakkat Siddique & Rahma Hatu sheltering at D4 - of Kutupalong encampment and left her dead immediately on the scene.

After hitting the child recklessly the van was seen to be speeding & leaving the scene.
The victim’s family originally hails from Buthidaung Township and they had to flee their home like other thousands of Rohingya just to save their lives from Burmese brutal military operations in 2017.

Nearly 1.3 Rohingya are sheltering in makeshift camps of Bangladesh and are vulnerable to any form of danger and security, as no one is held accountable in cases where Rohingya are either tortured, harassed or even murdered.
