The group used a test shielding device to sneak onto the Zeltron ship without being seen. Inside, there was a jumble of hallways that led to a center room that had an energy that seemed to come from another world. This is where they found the Zeltron's power source: a huge rock that seemed to power the ship and maybe even their whole society.
As they tried to connect to the ship's technology, something amazing happened. The team's linguist used a mix of AI and xeno-linguistics to set up a basic way for people to talk to each other. It was clear that the Zeltrons had not meant to attack. They were running away from a cosmic horror that was eating galaxies, and Earth was in its way. The damage on Mars was caused by a terrible mistake. People were reacting defensively to what they saw as an act of aggression.
With this new information, people changed their position. A new plan was made to protect against the coming cosmic creature by blending Earth's resources with the Zeltron's technology. One time, the two species were about to fight, but now they stood together against a terrible enemy.
After that, there was a great fight between forces that reached across the solar system. The horror from space was finally defeated, but it cost a lot. The inhabitants of Earth and the Zeltron fleet were wiped out, and the world was in ashes. But out of this terrible event came a new partnership based on respect and working together. Not only had humanity escaped the alien attack, but it had also made important new friends in the Zeltrons. Together, they held out the hope of a better future in the stars.
