Show us step-by-step how you do the shading on your eyes using the 'Cut Crease' technique. Tell us if you've done it before and if you found the process difficult

I'm going to explain step by step that how I shade my eyes by the use of cut crease technique and then I will share about my personal experience of this technique too...

IMG_20241125_205411.jpgIMG_20241125_205428.jpg

First I applied eyeshadow primer at my eyelid thoroughly so that my eyeshadows will stay long lasting and then I apply base colour which should be neutral or very light in colour and it should cover whole eyelid as I have covered it in the picture. Base eyeshadow is helpful for blending of other eyeshadows in a smooth way.

IMG_20241125_205458.jpgIMG_20241125_205513.jpg

Now I have applied are transition shade which should be darker than base colour and i applied it at my eyelid below the area of crease of eye and I choosed brown colour to apply as transition shadow.I started applying from the outer corner and move applying to inward. For defining crease I applied dark shade of brown than transition colour.

IMG_20241125_205536.jpgIMG_20241125_205558.jpg

Now it was the time to cut the crease so for this I used flat brush and with my very light hand I apply very little amount of concealer at brush and I applied it just above the crease where I applied darkest eyeshadow. I start to pat to merge this concealer by using a beauty blender.now this is you can see that it is looking as I have created a very sharp and defined as this is cut crease eye make up.Then I applied mascara.

IMG_20241125_205616.jpgIMG_20241125_205636.jpg

Above in both images you can see a very simple and light cut crease eye makeup which is perfect for day time function.

IMG_20241125_205721.jpgIMG_20241125_205738.jpg

Now this is optional to apply eyeliner but it would be always good to and this makeup with eyeliner to give it a more enhanced look so I have applied here cat eyeliner with technique I have previously learned in course.

My experience and difficulty level:

I have never applied this eye make up trick at my eyes but it was interesting to practice it today but when I talk about my difficulty level then yes as it was my first attempt so it was difficult for me also especially to cut crease and to blend it with beauty blender was difficult for me.

Finish your makeup by incorporating everything we've learned in class, including applying foundation, lipstick, contouring, and correcting imperfections. The main goal of this assessment is to achieve smooth, matte-looking skin

Now this is I am explaining almost every technique of applying makeup which I have learnt in the previous classes which include applied Foundation, lipstick, contouring and correcting different imperfections.

IMG_20241125_205248.jpgIMG_20241125_205309.jpg

This is a very first step in which I have applied makeup primer at my face so that my Foundation will stay for long time at my face so I applied foundation in a very minimal amount but in dotted form at my whole face and then I take a beauty blender and soft sponge to blend it well at my face so you can see a smooth look after applying Foundation.

IMG_20241125_205330.jpgIMG_20241125_205356.jpg

I am done with applying foundation and now it's a time to contour my slim face because I want to give it a little chubby look so for this I need to apply brown shade or a little darker shade than my original skin tone at those areas which need to contour so in my case I have applied this shade at hollows of my cheeks just below apples and give it a curve shape for making it prominent and then I start blending it upward and outward to give it a more natural look but I didn't did anything for prominancy of my Jaw line as I think this is already prominent naturally.I then set my makeup with compact powder.

IMG_20241125_205411.jpgIMG_20241125_205428.jpg

This is I have already explained in above question that this is I am applying base colour which is skin and little pistachio in shade as base colour at whole eyelid.

IMG_20241125_205458.jpgIMG_20241125_205513.jpg

This is I am applying dark brown transition shade but then for making crease more prominent I take more darker shade than this.

IMG_20241125_205536.jpgIMG_20241125_205558.jpgIMG_20241125_205616.jpgIMG_20241125_205636.jpg

For cutting crease I applied very little amount of concealer crease line and blend it well.

IMG_20241125_205721.jpgIMG_20241125_205738.jpg

Now it's a time to apply eyeliner so I have choose cat eyeliner to apply because most suitable for my eyes and infact at any eye shape.

IMG_20241125_205758.jpgIMG_20241125_205833.jpg

This is I am applying makeup at my eyebrows that I have learnt in previous lesson and I made one correction for this time that as my eyebrows are already thicker so I applied very little shade to give a dense look to my eyebrows and here you can see that from last time there is improvement in result and then I applied highlighter at my brow bone, zygomatic bone and at tip of nose to make all these areas more prominent.

IMG_20241125_205856.jpgIMG_20241125_205921.jpg

Now this was the time to apply lipstick so before applying lipstick it is always important that you should identify outer edges of your lips to avoiding any imperfections so for this it is always important to outline your outer lips edges so I have used dark red outline to highlight outer edge of my lips so this is you can see that I am done with outline.

IMG_20241125_205944.jpgIMG_20241125_210007.jpg

After that I have choose a mat lipstick in pink colour and applying it to my lips by filling the inside of outline and this is you can see that with lip brush how I made this lipstick flawless and smooth in look.

IMG_20241125_210033.jpgIMG_20241125_210051.jpg

As I am done with my makeup properly and as it is daytime makeup so I consider it to show you guys in daylight so this is you can see that how much it is looking perfect in sunlight also and this is also long lasting but by using makeup fixer spray you can fix it more for more than 12 hours easily.

Research the recommendations for making makeup long-lasting, even on hot days or when engaging in intense physical activity. Additionally, explore the role of loose powder in achieving a flawless finish on the skin.

I am giving some of the recommendations if you want to see your makeup lasting for long time in any weather either they are hot or either you are doing any physical activity which is intense...

• You should apply and oil free moisturizer to help your makeup stay in place and then you can also apply a make a primer for creation of smooth canvas of your makeup.
• After that you should choose original makeup product which have long lasting effects or which have already labelled that they are sweat resistant and they are long lasting.
• You should apply makeup at your skin with thin layers because it would permit each layer to set before you are applying one more layer of makeup.
• You should use a compact powder or translucent powder for locking your makeup especially in those areas that are prone to oil.
• You should apply second spray or makeup fixer after you are done with makeup.
• You should blot your skin with oil absorbing sheets or clean clothes for removing any oil if it is present after sometime of applying makeup.
• You should also carry a small bag containing compact powder and sponge as well as so that you may quickly apply makeup like touch up in case of need.

Role of loose powder:-

• Loose powder is very helpful in setting your makeup and locking your makeup so if you have applied it at your face so it would prevent fading of your makeup.
• Loose powder have ability of absorbing any excessive oil after applying makeup so it will reduce excessive shine from face which don't look well.
• Loose powder is helpful in smoothing fine lines and open pores if you have so it makes your makeup more even.
• Loose powder is helpful in extending wear of your makeup.

¡Hola!

We tried to correct the mistakes we made in the last lesson. Mashallah I like your eye makeup very much. Loose powder is very effective for finishing makeup. My face sweats excessively so I try to wear waterproof makeup. This makes my makeup last for a long time. Anyway your post is awesome sister.
