Komodo National Park
Located between the islands of Sumbawa and Flores in the province of East Nusa Tenggara, Komodo Island houses the Komodo National Park, the world's largest lizard which can only be found in this region. In 1986, Komodo National Park was designated as a World Heritage Site and Human and Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
Komodo National Park covers a total of 29 volcanic islands including the 3 main islands Rinca, Padar and Komodo. One of the best tourist attractions in Indonesia is home to around 2,500 Komodo Dragons and other land fauna.
The terrain of the park is unique and varied, consisting of mountain slopes, tropical rain forests, jungle meadows and pristine white sand beaches. The marine environment in Komodo National Park is one of the world's richest in flora and fauna and remains relatively undiscovered.
Ebeg is a form of traditional Banyumas dance with the main property being an ebeg or braid horse. This art depicts the gallantry of a horseman with all his attractions. Usually, ebeg performances are accompanied by barongan, penthul & cépét attractions.
