Hi again :)
I visited a sea side town with a friend the other day, and I tried a new restaurant I hadn't been to before!
This is my plate (including it here as I want it to be the thumbnail!)
We ordered tapas so we tried little bits from each plate.
Here is the menu! We ordered (from the tapas section):
- Cider glaze chorizo
- Chicken goujons
- Prosciutto ham
- Selection of local cheeses (chutney & artisan crackers)
- House bread.
Here's the full spread when it arrived at our table!
My drink I ordered which was a passion fruit and mango (I think) mocktail! It came with a shot of lemonade too which I hadn't seen served like that before (maybe I need to go out more?...). It was tasty! Although VERY sweet / sharp so I needed to drink a lot of water alongside it.
I was a bit disappointed by the cheese plate. I was expecting something that looked closer to a charcuterie board but this presentation felt quite lacklustre. I guess it was smaller as it was part of the tapas menu. I am a cheese / charcuterie board fiend so I did feel a bit disappointed! It was tasty nonetheless.
I saved the best 'till last! These chicken goujons were my absolute favourite. They were DELICIOUS. The texture was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The mustard mayonnaise was a nice touch too- I wanted to order more even though we were full hahaha.
