Burst a Divided Community at War

in burst •  8 years ago

The war between the Face & ReBirther of Burst (Crowetic) and the Promoter of Burst (Adam Guerbuez) has reached new heights. The coin price rapidly began to rise rapidly May11th to heights not previously seen. In an aggressive move to maintain inflation to the low 300 an undisclosed sum of coins in the range of millions was sent to Poloniex.com in an attempt to create a wall. The coin price rose rapidly to 900 (more than a 400% rise in 24 hours) and many believe they were riding the rocket to the moon. While prices shot up faster than ever thought possible Adam Guerbuez eluded to the fact he was responsible for the price rise on Polo via the BurstNation Live Radio program. The coin value descended nearly as fast as it climbed leaving waves of people holding bags of Burst they never saw coming.

The following day Adam required a recorded video call with Crowetic to publicly admit that he tried to hold back the price of Burst using his personal funds and the funds escrowed for M2B (madetoburst.com). If he refused his name would be slandered. The video was recorded and published in a demeaning fashion.

Crowetic in turn publicly posted an apology to the community on all forums (including BitCoinTalk.org) denouncing Adam's actions and announcing he will have no dealing with Adam from this point forward. All escrow funds that were utilized have been returned as of the present time per DaGentlemanG the M2B project manager.

Public shots are being fired back and forth some more logical than others and some with no backing at all.
Two members of the Burst community have been publicly Doxed by Adam in the past 24 hours, one of which was sending death threats in a Troll box and the other a victim of unknown circumstance. BurstNation is becoming a platform for airing grievances and trashing individuals in a heavily moderated fashion controlled by Adam. As a precautionary measure Adam and team have removed moderator status from many members that they believe could become defective. Did I mention the main administrator for BurstNation is Focus? The same individual with holding the Burst Dev Funds.
The original Burst Forums (Forums.Burst-Team.US) seem to be providing wide open arms for any refugees or defectors of BurstNation. The views on Burst-Team are typically logical and unmoderated.
I'm not sure what a "SLAG" is but that term was used in reference to Crowetic's significant other. A sign that the facts are running thin are we have resorted to name calling much like when I was deemed a "greedy prick" by Focus.
My recommendation to my readers is, If you have Burst and you have made profit on it take your profit. Yes you could make more but you also stand to hold a giant bag of nothing.

Buy when there's blood in the streets.

  ·  8 years ago (edited)

Hard to say, This would fall in line with "buy the dip" but what if the blood is so thick that wallet servers start crashing and the network forks to little pieces? Investors lose confidence and the coin dumps. Between that and the P&D that happened recently were not sure where the floor is yet.

As you predicted, it happened in the last few days.

Dude what should current busrtians do during the meantime? Should we dump this coin altogether or not?
