Former Tampa Bay Lightning player Vincent Lecavalier was slightly injured in a bus accident on Saturday.
The accident occurred in the afternoon on a Florida highway. Three buses came into contact while on their way to the local Gasparilla parade, according to the FOX network. Two of the three bus drivers face charges of reckless driving.
The Quebecer is one of three people who were transported to a hospital in the Tampa area for minor injuries.
Lecavalier retired from professional hockey in 2016. In 1212 games on the Bettman circuit, he collected 421 goals and 528 assists for a total of 949 points.
