Continuing with food themed learning.....
When I was younger, I was a picky eater. There were lots of things I didn't like. Or at least I thought I didn't like them.
When I got a little older and forced myself to try things I didn't prefer, I realized that you can learn to like things.
Almost no one likes coffee, beer or wine when they first try them. You acquire a taste for them with time.
Sometimes we don't like things, just because we've convinced ourselves that we don't like them for whatever reason.
Sometimes we don't like something because we aren't good at it. We're not good at because we've never done it. We've never done it because we aren't good at it.
It works the other way too. You can convince yourself that you like things in the same way. It's all in our head because that's where our perception of the entire world resides, in our head.
If you don't like something and it's necessary, decide to like it. Practice daily, until you're better. When you're better it's easier. When it's easier its more enjoyable. Then it starts to grow on you just like coffee did.
If you don't like something, change your mind!
