The Day I Quit My Job || The Importance Of Self-Esteem And Why We Need To Know Our Own Value [A True Story]

My first job as a teacher, I hated walking into work and dealing with the adminstration. Every single week, a different theme to dress up:cowboy, halloween, favorite book...wtf. All I wanted to do was teach, it sounds crazy but working ina school with a highly involved PTA can make it difficult.

After sitting in my class passing out cupcakes to 13 year old children, one of them started complaining about getting a chocolate cupcake and it was at that moment..the I realized...yo wtf and I doing here?

I got my bag and walked out of that prep school to work in one of the most underpriviledge schools in my district. A few years later I was nominated for a national teaching award...feel free to look me up.

The point, follow your dreams...if it doesnt involved cupcakes and screaming children run the fuck out.
