Metal Shark, american ship manufacturer, start global development with office in Rijeka. Currently, Metal Shark has more than 700 employees, and plan to hire forty employees in Croatia office. Current orders for Metal Shark count more than 500 ships, within 41 prototypes.
Croatian office will be responsible for design and final manufacturing will be done in shipyards in America. Metal Shark is producing boats and ships for american coast guard and military, but also luxury yachts for relaxation purposes.
It is planned to start research and development for new prototypes in cooperation with local Technical faculty. All this is good news for Croatia ship industry.
