Permits are also useful things used to meddle with other people's affairs. When someone's behavior needs to be put in check, a permit is there. The tricky thing is making sure permits accomplish a specific task while being applied without prejudice, in local government that's asking a lot since applying them with prejudice is kind of the point.

Can big daddy government watch you every move , they are "protecting" you after all , or is it that they like their own power and get annoyed when people go off grid and into another space , i think they just like taxes and revenues , so just pay up and shut up
