(2) Long hours of operation.

(3) Low running cost.

(4) It creates employment opportunities.

(5) Traders are involved in other business.

(6) It requires small capital.

(7) Close supervision.

(8) Easy medium of advertisement, etc.

DISADVANTAGES OF SMALL RETAIL TRADE OVER LARGE SCALE RETAIL TRADE:

(1) Lack of experts.

(2) Low profit.

(3) Lack of economics scale.

(4) Poor competition.

(5) Limited expansion.

(6) Poor location.

(7) Inadequate capital, etc.
