In Russia, a new "Tuareg" will be presented at the August motor show in Moscow. Its ruble price tag, almost certainly, will grow along with the level of finishing and equipment. Moreover, in a more budget category, the 7-seat crossover Volkswagen Terramont will soon be introduced.
The premium SUV will be built on the MLB-Evo platform, which underlies the Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne, Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus models. The new "Tuareg" will inherit the design of the VW T-Prime GTE concept and will generally become more premium and technological, which will allow it to easily take away a part of the buyers of Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5 and Volvo XC90.
