In these days of Christmas and New Year propitious to share with family and rest, I was reflecting on how I will start the year 2018 as an #entrepreneur, especially when my entrepreneurship of artisanal cocktails is based in #Venezuela, a country that is currently experiencing a social crisis, political and economic. From those reflections I extracted 11 ingredients, which when mixed together resulted in this cocktail recipe welcome that will help me to assume the challenges and be successful in 2018, so I want to share it with you.
1. Review the Products and Grow the Business: Do an analysis of each of the products, ask us questions such as which ones were sold the most and why? which ones were sold less and why? What does my business needs today to grow? Developing strategies to increase online presence, through networks, website, e-commerce, social media.
2. Follow the Competition: It is important to follow who is the main competitor, what they are doing to improve their products, where they are growing, where they are focusing their advertising and promotion strategy, what is their distribution strategy, which are their strengths and weaknesses.
3. Prepare a Plan and Review it every 90 days: It must contain achievable objectives, steps to follow with real actions, and the resources assigned to achieve these objectives. It will allow us to measure the effectiveness, calibrate and rethink the route to reach the objectives and have a long-term vision of the enterprise.
