What's Important Now

Let's explore this today and see how it applies to our everyday career and lives:

"What do you look out for in any challenging scenarios ?"

My Ans is simple: You fight / look forward to W.I.N. - Whats Important Now.

Depending on the type of challenges,** focusing on the W.I.N determines the end result!**

How do we get the results we want in all these challenges we face in daily life?

EASY! By lots of trial and errors and learning experience! Developing a whole suiteof solutions and see which produce the most consistent results, adapting it and changing the way you do things etc.

NOTE: Consistent results does not equal 100% working all the time!

This is why we have Murphy's Law to keep us on our feet and remind us that no single challenge is the same as each other.

It's like when your financial consultant tells you that a investment is 100% guaranteed, that is your signal to look for someone else!

This is why I call this process a system and not a set of doctrines or philosophies. The difference?

Systems can be ever evolving and changing to adapt over the times, to include, increase, improvise (3-I's); this ensures that all important aspects are being taken care of, physically, mentally, emotionally etc. It aims to solve a problem.

Confusing?

Scenario: ever went to your car workshop and see how many tools are there hanging on the wall or in the mechanics individual toolboxe(s)?

Yes! They have one or more of such boxes or tools sometimes.

This is because they carry a variety of tools to do their job: diagnose, treat & remedy a problem. If problem A grows bigger, they have to use different tools, say tool A1 instead of tool A. For a various of problems, they have various tools. However, if you notice, they also seem to have a basic set of tools that seems to work wonders in almost all cases!

Get the drift?

What about philosophies:

A 'philosophy' is only validated if you explore all the tangible(movable/ changeable) parts of it. And, a philosophy is useless if YOU control the experiments and the condition so that it supports the philosophy itself.

Things change, people change, the way challenges are met, change. So why doesn't the way on how we handle challenges change?

One common challenge faced is the underlying philosophy, principles or doctrines, as different people would call it. In order to adhere with the "guidelines" handed down, people over the years have the notion to "pause" development & experiments as the philosophies itselves have been embedded too deep, some don't even dare to think of change.

Very soon,it will lead to self doubt and in times of a real challenge, guess what?! GAME OVER!

This is why, the only "philosophy" I ever have is Continually Challenging Challenges. (3-Cs) Which in itself, deserves another post
