ICE CREAM BEER | CONTINUATION CHAPTER 2

Good morning steemians, this was my continuation about our product in Feasibility Study or thesis.

MARKET STUDY

Ice Cream is a dessert are usually crave for everyone regardless of the place, time, and weather. Some people go to a place where a Family, Friends and others can buy ice cream, for some reason like relaxing and to cooling down due to the hot weather or just for boosting their appetite and satisfied of craving some cold desserts. People who usually spent their time in works like stressful offices,hot production area of the businesses companyor even doing household chores, will find way to get an ice cream in parlor/canteen. Some consider that they will buy ice cream no matter how tight is their financial, because for them it is also a way ofbonding their family or friends even individuals for giving their self to enjoy eating ice cream. Male or female, local or foreigner, is considered as the target market of IC&B partnership.

A. Place

I.T Park in Lahug Cebu has a lot of companies and its canteen inside, especially in BPO’s canteen such as Convergys in TGU tower, Convergys i2, and i3 building which has huge number of employees that can be a very good target market. Besides the number of employee they have the capacity of buying our product base on their salaries. Those place are the following captured target market, where demand has not been satisfied because some ice cream distributor has the same flavor and no longer interesting neither unique, that is why the proponent decide and believed that this market is good enough to create an Ice Cream Beer be their distributor in partnership of another business sector who cater the canteen for those employees. As we study our market we identified the total estimated population of the said target market and its feedbacks and backgrounds from the survey we conducted.

B. Market Segmentation

The table above shows the possible number of our target markets, and it is identify how much we are going to produce for them. The Income of the employees ranges from 10,000.00 to 30,000.00 basically from call center agent to managerial position, while the percentage is 10 percent of the total population.
