Finding Inpsiration in Atlanta

in business •  7 years ago

The Foundry leadership team had a fantastic time in the city of Atlanta this past week.

We were able to connect with seminary alumni and hear their story of starting and growing a coworking space in the city.

Atlanta is an ever changing town and one of the main lessons we learned from our hosts is that you have to stay flexible. Innovation waits for no man or woman.

While the art community is a consistent place of growth in the downtown part of Atlanta, businesses are constantly moving.

Our friends were gracious enough to share their current struggles and victories as they navigate the journey.

While The Foundry does not have quite the space that Centerform has, we were able to brainstorm about ideas for our own place.

One item that is happening in the next few weeks is a collaboration with local artists to paint a mural in our common work area.

Centerform has a new artist each quarter come and paint something that is on their mind.

The current mural is inspired from the Las Vegas and church shootings that happened in the fall. You can see the pain and anguish from the tragedy.

We have much more to share from our trip and look forward to sharing our pictures and memories with you all.

Thank you for your continued support of The Foundry, Steemit community!
