Mr. A has Masters degree in Computer Science. He has no experience in his field. He is unwilling to learn and adapt to the new standards.
Mr. B has diploma in Computer science. He has 5 years of experience in his field. He can adapt to any working condition. So definitely Mr.B will be preferred over Mr. A when selecting for a job although Mr. A has a better degree.
In market survival of the fittest is the only theorem that works. No other characteristic has any value. So the best way to survive in a redundant and stagnant market is to keep adapting to the environment of the market.
