Determine your stretch goal first because this choice will influence your selection of immediate and intermediate goals. A stretch goal should be big. Stretch goals are more specific than immediate and intermediate goals. A specific goal might be "to become the CEO of Microsoft", A vaguer stretch goal might be "to produce a top application for all phones" An extremely vague goal would be "to produce a app". Be as specific as possible allow yourself to adjust your goal. Once you develop your stretch goal, you can create checkpoints to help you along your journey.

You should create immediate goals that are small and assign a deadline to these goals in a short time frame. It is suggested that the time frame for these goals would be accomplished within a week of setting them. To help create these goals it would be ideal to ask yourself what you need to get done this week that will contribute to your stretch goal.
Set Intermediate Goals.
Intermediate goals are broader than immediate foals and can have monthly or yearly time frames for their accomplishment. A intermediate goal can be to apply for a scholarship, apprentice program or a training program. IF a desired outcomes requires yourself to relocate, more schooling or quitting a job, set a timeline for taking one of these intermediate steps.
