So many times even though the question doesn't come direct we are always faced with the simple question

What is your name ?

This can be in the market place, in religious gatherings or public places etc but many people are yet to give the answer to this question.

Before I move further, the question means what you are known for

We can't function perfectly more than we know, if you know where you are heading you won't be dropped at anywhere. If you know your name you won't answer to just any call. To me, I know one of our success in business is determined by our ability to know our name or what our name is.

Now, you ask yourself. What is my name ?

Now back to the matter. So many businesses are dead because their name is no longer a name, so many have spoilt their names with greed, cheat, inconsistency, corruption, lies, indiscipline etc while very few take time to carefully build a name and brand in business industry. Much is already known about you but what is know must be good.

Avoid these:

• Don't be a business person with excuses but with result
• Don't be known for getting to meeting venue after your client
• Don't be known as a cheat
• Don't be someone who borrows and never pay back etc.

If you are known to be a honest person it will affect your business positively because the world have eyes, people are noticing your every move, Yes they are, that is why even though people who maintain good name are few their lives carry weight of importance in every corner of relevance. Much has always been heard about you, some good and some bad (Some may be bad because little misunderstanding can lead to it) but let your good supersede the bad people hear about you.

The year is still young to have a change of name?

Make efforts

You have to make good efforts to make sure your name is at the top list in your industry. Good questions should be asked about you, after business deals you should get good referrals. Try as much as possible to keep your customers returning to you and let your customers reproduce others. Questions like this should be asked, have you had a business relationship with Mr A before? Oh my! He is God sent. Even when your clients pay you for services to them make sure you impress them that they can't hesitate sending you a thank you note.
