Homeless, Abusive Family and Eating.

So my Mother, Sister and I, from special circumstances, got evicted from our home with no place to go.

We ended up staying and still our living with our Grandmother. My grandmother has never been the nicest person but I didn't see living with her as going to be a bad thing. My mother said it would be otherwise.

Cue 16 months later and we are still stuck with her and it turns out my mother was right, my grandmother is a nightmare to live with, which I may go into later.

One of the reasons we are still with her is because most of our food goes to eating out. We didn't prepare food at home because our grandmother was abusive and controlling.

Dinner HAD to be made before a certain time and no later, usually at 5 pm and no later then 7.

Now my mother is sickly and has to be the one cooking or doesn't trust the food, because she's ill.

So we haven't cooked a proper home meal in almost a year.

Our financial has gotten so bad, that this month alone we took out 2 loan and borrowed money to get food.

We final said enough was enough and cooked a meal we had in the freezer.

That meal was hard to make because my grandmother had to control EVERYTHING.

She starts off by coming to us multiply times while it's cooking and telling us it's done, which it's not. She them questions my mother on why she is cooking it for longer and how it could dry out, it didn't and was delicious .

Next she goes on to harass her and riddle her. One by making funny of my sister who liked my moms cooking, by saying all she did was cook something in the oven. Which we all know anyway can screw up.

And then harasses her about the time and space she took up.

We only took a half of the oven and were in there for an hour and a half. That time includes cooking and eating.

She just proved to us why we didn't cook in the kitchen and chose to eat out. Even when she bugs us about eating out too.

But we're going to deal with it because we need to save money and get out of here.
