(43.17) Complaints of sexual abuse of two children in Lalbagh
Two child schoolgirls in the capital's Lalbagh have been accused of sexual assault. Lalbagh Police Station arrested a man named Shukkur Ali (30) in this connection.
This incident occurred on the second floor flat of a multi-storied building in Lalbagh Shahid town on the last 7th August (Tuesday). The victim's family filed a case with Lalbagh Police Station after knowing the matter. On Friday (August 10th), the police admitted two children to the physical examination in Dhaka Medical College (DMCH) One Stop Crisis Center (OCC).
Lalbagh Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Shah Alam told the Bangla Tribune that, on August 9 (Thursday), a family of two children, who have been sued by the police for filing the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act, filed the case. Case No.-9 Later the accused accused Shukkur Ali was arrested. Two children have been admitted to the OCC of Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Friday.
He further said, "One of the victims alleged that, before this, Shukkur Ali had been sexually assaulted by calling seven-year-old child more than once. Details of the accused will be known.
The father of one of the victims said that they were hired with a seven-year-old girl on the fourth floor of a multi-storied building in Shahidnagar. A nine-year-old schoolgirl living in the lower house of the same house lives with her family. The children fall into the fourth and third class of the two local schools.
He said, "On the 7th of August, the tenant of the same building Shukkur Ali (30), in the same building, took his daughter to the room by showing greed for 100 rupees. She has sexually assaulted the child. Sukkur Ali, accused of torturing him when the other child also went there.
