How time has flawn by. I remember my first day on the steemit blockchain just like it was yesterday. I remember my excitement studying the whitepaper, now appropriately memorized as blank space, and I remember scrolling down the feed already picturing my first crypto million. Owh the naivete. And yes, yes I know it's "steem blockchain" but I like my trips down memory block accurate. No need to fork my buzz just coz you nod not to what I say!! But I digress.
So here I am, casually scrollin when I notice how "busy" is one of the most popular tags. I click on it, end up in the "trending" section where I see posts worth hundreds of SBDs. Nope, out of my depth! So I choose the "new" section. And holy crap there is a post every 1, 2... Every 3 seconds!! Just how busy can everyone be... And at the same damn time?!! Yup, definitely waaay out my depth!
But I need to get my act together, I thought to myself. So I stalk random steemian #1 who's busy predicting prices. Normal stuff I guess. Then I turn around to see his neighbors turning up, still not turning down an opportunity to get busy, all the while another neighbor is taking a nap whilst busy! It was fuckin ridiculous! Nah but for real I was baffled.
Luckily though, I eventually found an article by random steemian #2 explaining the whole busy situation. It was quite the long read. But long story short their free upvotes made busy my go to dapp. So Busy it was, until it wasn't, until it was.. Until it wasn't, well you get the point. I know I don't.
Oh yeah, that it still feels just like yesterday. Back before the bears got comfy, before Actifit's first baby steps, and way before steampeak would turn me into just another statistic. Of success or churn rate, who knows? I'll find out when I can!
For this round of Comedyopenmic I'd like to nominate @busy and @idikuci.
