Some of you know I´m a nerd but if you don´t, well let me put it simple: I play Magic The Gathering, I read at least one book per week and I collect some comic books.
Well, on this friday I will be attending The Conque, the best Comic Book and hobby convention in México.
The cool part? I will be attending as a store, selling Vintage comics. This means, Comic books from the Golden Age (1930 - 1950) and the Silver Age (1956 - 1970).
The Convention is celebrated in Querétaro state and I am currently living in Puebla, that means I have to rent a cargo van at least a 3-4 hour drive.
As you can imagine, the past week and this one, have been all about preparing the merchandise, getting T-shirts, flyers and preparing the logistics. This is the main reason I haven´t been very active on Steemit - posting and commenting, don´t worry, I´m still voting - and I want to show you a bit of what I am preparing to bring to this annual event.

thats an extreme volume of comic books you got there ! i was never into comic books that much, but i did watch tons of marvel's animations with spiderman and xman on cartoon network back when i was a kid ! golden times !

They aren´t all mine, most are my dad´s but we are going to the convention altogether so we have more selling power haha. My dad is a marvel fan, im more of a DC fan.

One book per week is very cool. Such grant one an explosive stream of knowledge which might never run dry. I hope you also read novels apart from all the motivational because people mostly like reading motivational. I hope to acquire this skill someday

Sometimes its less, but some weeks i just stay glued to the book til I finish it haha. I only read historic novels, fantasy and science fiction, no motivational stuff for me at least on this era, a while back I used to read a lot of Coehlo whos a big latinamerican motivational writer but not anymore.

Wow este es uno de mis sueños, soy Venezolano con mucho orgullo, me atraen los COMICS, nunca he tenido una historieta en mis manos pero me gusta esa era donde todo era la lectura. El primer personaje de los COMICS, fue Superman que hizo su primera aparición en 1938 creado el escritor estadounidense: Jerry Siegel y el artista canadiense: Joe Shuster de aqui Parte la era de oro y por su éxito surgieron otros personajes como Batman, el Capitán América entre otros espero que te valla super en esa convención. Nice to see I'm not the only one living with boxes of comic books. I can't claim to be a comic book store, though. :)
But then, mine aren't from the golden or silver ages, but the one after that, mostly between 1979-1985, when I was 12-19. I have some pretty fond memories of them growing up. They were a great refuge from the vicissitudes of teenage life. :)
