Hello steemit,
meet again with me @antonio-art with information around the world, I love sharing with you all.
And this time the information came from a former computer that almost became trash, want to know its information, just read to finish
When Steve Jobs was kicked out of Apple in 1985, he just left without clearing up his personal belongings in his office, including an Apple computer that was left standing.
The old computer nearly ended up in the trash if it was not "secured" by an Apple engineer named Don Hutmacher. Years later, after Hutmacher died, his family handed Apple 1 to the Living Computers museum in Seattle, USA.
That's where the Apple 1 computer is now on display. This one unit is very special because it is a prototype used by Jobs for demo to potential investors.
Museum of Living Computers thinks Apple 1 belongs to Steve Jobs as "the most important computer in history", as well as the "most boring" because only a metal box with a keyboard.
Apple 1 owned by Steve Jobs was exhibited alongside another Apple computer from 1976 that could still operate. "Approximately 200 units (Apple 1 computer) are manufactured. Only 70 are known to exist and that can still burn seven units, "said executive director of Living Computers museum, Lath Carlson, as summarized KompasTekno from Cult of Mac, Tuesday (11/4/2017).
In addition, the museum founded by Microsoft founder Paul Allen also showcased various other computers in Apple's history, such as Apple II, IIe, IIc, Apple III, Lisa, and Macintosh 128K.
This is it for this occasion. Have a nice day and happy weekend
