It is said that the height of great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight; but they, while their companions slept, were toiling upward in the night

Many of us(including me) no doubt have many wishes and dreams we sometime wish could come to reality at a snap of our finger. That could be possible if Hogwarts really existed.

I know you can count certain things you'd have love to start and things you'd wish to stop.

While there's nothing bad in wishes and dreams, we need to realise they can't get anybody anywhere.

Although in our minds where wishes and dreams are birthed, is a the source of innovations and successes but that's only the beginning of it.

It's like starting a vehicle without you pressing the accelerator and changing gears and you sit in there expecting to get you somewhere you desire.

There are certain principles and laws success obeys, and if we don't implore these principles to our dreams, it will only remain dreams and not see the light of the day.

I will be reminding us of two fundamental truths we know but often allow to slip off our minds ;

1. DISCIPLINE

The truth is not a single soul can get anything reasonable done except they imbibe the act of discipline towards their intentions.

Discipline is when you keep doing what you wish to do even when the enthusiasm fades

It is when you get out when its raining and cold, having sleepless nights even when your eyes are crimson red, it's running against the wind when it's wild...

Discipline is required to attain any level of success, and it requires decision.

Discipline means being obedience and imposing strict guidelines on yourself. Self-discipline is the highest form of discipline, when no one is there to monitor you.

2. VISION

You know we can't overemphasize the need for vision in attaining measurable success.

You must posses a guiding vision that will serve as your compass and map towards getting where you intend to get to.

If you could see beyond what others see, you become a step ahead of them

Vision imparts adventure into you, it create a sense of responsibility and accountability because you know where you're are headed, you won't do what others will do.

A vision gives you a glimpse of the end, an insight into your purpose in life. It is the source of self-motivation

As you launch out this week, I want you to keep these principles in mind, consciously remind yourself of your dream and why you need to achieve it.

You can't afford to live anyhow, guard your purpose with principles. Success is intentional!
