Прежде всего, питание и благосостояние каждого отдельного солдата и офицера индивидуально.
Оно зависит от порядков в воинской части, личности командира, степени воровства финансистов и интендантов, характера самого солдата.

Из мемуаров генерал-фельдмаршала Манштейна до нас дошли жалобы на жесткую сырокопченую колбасу, что выдавалась на ужин всему Вермахту.
