Our Net Worth is Equal to Our Network:)

Some people in this world are so poor, (in any field, including steemit) may be they rich by just money

Dear Steemitian our true richness is people around us:)

                 Our  net worth is equal to our network.

But in steemit, when it comes to networking & our connecting to people. 
     Very often we just have the tendency to connect to and network with those apparently big guys, 
                                             the more important ones.   Or as they call them the big guns. 

Do you think steemit is a community? If yes, what's the definition of community?

For me community is there, where every member, connect with each other, from big to small from president to resident.. Where everyone willing to help each other to grow..

But unfortunately in steemit (community or not), most of the member not willing to help the community to grow, they separate themself from the community, they only willing to help themself.
Many of them join here to destroy the community by their phishing link (Everyone should be aware with this, Read the post for details, written by @tarazkp ) link of the post

Ladies and gentlemen, If we truly want to achieve long-term success, we must connect to the big & small. At all levels we must treat them all with respect, dignity & sensitivity.

                     LET ME TELL YOU A VERY INTERESTING STORY

A group of 70 scientists were working on a project as a deadline.

One morning one of the scientist came to the boss & said, "There is an exhibition in town and I have promised my children to take them to the exhibition. Is it ok if I leave at 5.30?" The boss said we are really working on a deadline but since you have promised your kids you can actually leave at 5.30.."

The scientist was happy. He continued to work in his office & when he looked at his watch again, he saw it was already 8.30 pm.
He felt so guilty that he had promised his kids. He came to his boss's cabin and saw that the boss was not there as well. The scientist packed his bag & came home. He asked his wife where are the kids?

The lady said, "At about 5.15, your boss came home & took the children for the exhibition."
What had happened is at 5 o' clock the boss had come & seen that the scientist was so absorbed & engrossed in his work & had completely lost track of time, The boss knew that he wasn't going to leave at 5.30.
The boss personally went to the scientist's home & took the scientist's kids for the exhibition.

Now the boss didn't have to do this again and again. Even that one time he did it and made that investment, the kind of commitment that came from all the scientists that work under him was incredibly amazing.

Guess who the boss was?
Late Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam, the former president of India, the master mind behind the space research & the missiles project of India..

Greatness is not about rubbing shoulders with the big guys. 
    The true symptom of greateness is
          how we treat the apparently small & the least amongst mankind whom we work with.
