Llamando a mamá a casa

Llamo a mi madre una vez al año, el día de su muerte. Cinco veces he levantado "Mom Home" en mis contactos. Cinco veces he presionado el ícono del teléfono. Cinco veces ella nunca recogió.

No le he dado mucho tiempo. Toco el botón rojo de desconexión tan pronto como escucho el primer timbre. "Llamada finalizada" parpadea en la pantalla, y ella se va.

Me preocupa que algún día alguien responda. Alguien que no es mi madre Alguien cuyo número es este ahora. Que alguien pueda devolver la llamada, preguntar quién es de todos modos.
