Cuando era lo suficientemente joven como para inventar y confiar en mi propio nudo Boy Scout, até una grabadora al caparazón de una tortuga y la liberé. La primera lluvia fuerte debe haber roto la endeble cosa, pero me gusta pretender que grabó la lluvia sin romperse. De esta forma, si la tortuga regresara alguna vez, podría escuchar los sonidos salientes balancearse a través del zumbido de la baja fidelidad. Tal vez oiría mi voz cuando era un niño diciéndole que no fuera demasiado lejos. O tal vez solo lo escucharía pasar por la hierba alta y, muy lentamente, ir demasiado lejos.
