(39.36) The blacklisted agencies are sending Hajj pilgrims to other agencies
The black listed agencies of the government are sending hajj pilgrims to other agencies. Besides, the legitimate agencies are not being able to pass on their own, it is known that the subcontract is working with other travel agencies. The irregularities were found in the Haj Agencies in the fourth round of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
On Sunday (July 15th), the ACC's Enforcement Team conducted an operation in 8 Haj Agencies of Fakirapul in the capital on charges of corruption and human trafficking. Deputy Director Mahmud Hasan led a 9-member campaign including the police.
ACC Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya said that the operation of eight hajj and travel agencies in the G-Net Tower in Fakirapalle was carried out. Among them Khanjahan Ali's Hajj Tours and Travels is the blacklist of the government. They are not working in the name of al-Madina Travels by their own people. Besides, Jamalpur Tours and Travels have not given the required number of pilgrims to send their passengers to the Minar Travels. What is going on in subcontract?
Besides, there is evidence of major irregularities of King Air International, officials said, participating in the ACC operation. This Hajj agent has not given its registered visitor to the license of another company. Nilasagar Travel Agency has no license.
ACC team confirms air confidentiality, netline pilots conduct tours and kb air international hajj agencies. During this time their licenses and hajj pilgrims were examined.
The action will be taken against those who are found guilty of corruption or cheating, said Munir Chowdhury, Director General of Administration (Administration) of ACC, Coordinator of Enforcement Operations. He said that the campaign will be continued to stop corruption or cheating on Hajj, if there is evidence of corruption, strict action would be taken.
