Esta linda planta con delicioso olor es la planta de mentol chino, O al menos así le dice mi abuela que es la dueña... Puedes extraer aceite mentolado de esta, ademas de hacer vaporizaciones cuando hay asma o congestión. Uno de mis tíos trabajo por muchos años como pacillero de negocios de chinos y ellos tenias un pequeño jardín y la china mayor del negocio se entero que mi abuela tenia un jardín muy grande así que le mando una ramita de este planta tan curiosa. no me lo van a creer pero es tan fuerte su olor cuando mueves sus hojas que si estas muy cerca pueden sentir esta frescura que te hace llorar los ojos, que están característico de los frascos de mentol. Su reproducción es por esquejes y la época en donde es mas hermosa es en verano pues sus hojas toman un color como gris.
