The Russia 2018 FIFA world cup tournament is gradually coming to an end with two matches remaining to be played which are the third place match and the final match. After the 2nd semi final match, we now know the two teams that will be playing at final.
Today's semi final match was played between Croatia and England and the match ended 2 - 1 in favour of Croatia.

The first goal was scored by Kieran Trippier just 5min after the start of the match. Kieran Trippier played in a beautiful free kick to put England ahead in the first half. Croatia equalize in the 68th minute through Ivan Perisic. The game ended in a 1 - 1 draw.
Mario Mandzukic scored the winner for Croatia when they go for extra time at exactly 109th minute. The captain of the Croatian team Luka Modric again won the man of the match.
The Croatian team is going to play France on Sunday at the final of the tournament while England is going to play Belgium to battle for the third position.
