Our Heritage as Christians!

Dear esteemeans

As followers of Jesus and following his teachings we can achieve the inheritance that he has left us. Our Lord after he fulfilled his ministry among us was condemned, suffered martyrdom and paid our sins on the cross, on the third day he rose again from the dead, this announced in the first place by Mary Magdalene (John 20 1-10) .

From that moment on, he accompanied his apostles and his disciples for forty days, during which time he confirmed all his preaching and finally ascended to heaven (Matthew 16, 15-20).

He asked his disciples to remain in Jerusalem until the coming of the comforting Holy Spirit (Acts 2 1-13). This marks the beginning of the church and its mission to evangelize the world carrying the message of Christ to the Nations.

In the letter of the Apostle Saint Paul to the Ephesians, the values that we should have the call to fulfill the service of the word stand out:

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. Ephesians 1 17-23

We as believers being part of the body of the church have as our inheritance the knowledge that God is love, and we must take this love to all men by spreading his word and teachings. So each day of our life marks the beginning of our task of taking his teachings to the nations, having as weapons the help of the Holy Spirit, our prayer, perseverance, enthusiasm for this task of reaching the new Jerusalem, just as the Lord He asked his disciples.
