My Entry for Qurator's Treasure Hunt Round 3

This week’s Qtreasurehunt asks us to find items that spell out “STEEMIT”.

Even though steemit and their new cloudflare firewall have sucked my metered wifi minutes dry, making my life harder than it needs to be, I am still happy to get in on this contest.

The Qtreasurehunt is a fun new addition to my STEEM time and who does not want more tokens as a prize? The Q tokens I won in a previous Hunt are paying out daily STEEM dividends, and believe me, I want more! I have no money to buy tokens, and I do not delegate sp so contest winnings are my path to Q riches.

STEEMIT was not hard for me to find at all. Everything here is part of my life.

S is for

Salt

This bin of Himalayan salt sits on my desk, inches from my keyboard, and does double duty as a platform for my mobile phone. I use the phone for an alarm all day, everyday. I estimate how long a STEEM task will take or decide how long I will do something like answer replies, and then the alarm is on vibrate and lights up to tell me when time is up.

The salt container is helpful to always keep the phone in the same place, but this is not why it is on my desk. It is here as an ingredient for the adrennal cocktail I sip on daily in order to carry on. This drink is part of my healthy lifestyle and really perks me up.

All I need is salt, cream of tarter, and some kind of juice added to water, and I am good to go. I do not want to have to get up all the time for my ingredients, so all are close at hand.

Be sure to try this if your days drag on and you can be superwoman like me.

Taxi

Underneath the Wangsa Maju LRT station in Kuala Lumpur is a line of taxis next to the bus lane. No hunting needed to find a brightly colored one to show you as the taxis are there 24/7.

E is for

Eleven

The cold drink case at my local 711 has this nice big eleven waiting for its chance to be in the spotlight. The 24 hour 711 is the place where my ATM is not giving me the right amount of money, so I am in there frequently.

Excitement

My friends from STEEM and church show their excitement to know they will be featured in a STEEM post for my Qtreasurehunt.

@danielwong is a Q member, drummer, and chef extraordinaire. You can see @tasteem restaurant reviews and wonderful creations Daniel sells on his food truck at his blog. He takes STEEM transfers for his delicious burgers, drinks and sides, and many STEEMers from @teammalaysia take him up on that offer.

The little girl saw us doing this photo and was so excited jumping up and down that her face blurred for me. Good thing, since I did not get to talk to her mom about putting her in the post.

She assures me she is already all over the internet, and was in last week's Qhunt too. So hopefully I have a need for her next week as she is ready!

And @hooiyewlim is a numismatist and posts interesting coin posts and videos on his STEEM blog. He also started doing @tasteem reviews after I told him about them. This man is on the job! Last month he was the NUMBER ONE reviewer in all of @tasteem!

@hooiyewlim does great work over there with entertaining and informative reviews. I have learned a lot about Malaysian food in the last months from his blog alone.

M is for

Mailbox

This mailbox set up is repeated all over my condo complex. These are not mine. I just randomly got the photo when I realized I had endless opportunities here. I have never gotten any mail myself and never expect to since I do not know my complicated address!

I is for

Ink

The top pen leaks and you can see its ink staining the barrel and smearing on my pink Q envelop. You can see the ink in the barrel of the middle pen that @khimgoh left behind one day.

You cannot see the ink in the third pen I brought from California, but I assure you it is there. I use this pen if I have to sign anything, since it does not smear. But it’s hard on my arthritic hands and might still have ink in it when I am gone since I only use it for that one task.

Ticket

The ticket for my Visa trip to Singapore was still close at hand on my floor. No one has ever accused me of being a good housekeeper. The trips come every 90 days and the next one is next Monday July 29. I have not got the money for the next ticket yet, but I will not overstay my Visa!
