Rest stop food in Malaysia is quite amazing for me from the West. I'm used to candy bars and chips in a machine. Or maybe high priced restaurants in a nicer place.
Here they have inexpensive fresh fruit, cooked meals and unique ice cream treats. I already got food at my lrt station on the way.
Here is the food I am traveling with to Singapore. It's cheap, yummy, too carb heavy, and more than half eaten already.
The green stuff is pandan pudding, proving tastes change. I did not like pandan when l got to SE Asia, and now I love it. The little pie things are 4 for fifty cents. I tell myself that they will last, but they might not make it to Singapore
Then I have fried chicken empanadas with potatoes and this long stick-like donut thing they cut for you with scissors. It is not sweet and it is the greasy, doughy food of my dreams. Fat girl food for sure. I love it all anyway.
I'm pretty sure the lunch stop place will have a lemon juice drink l like. That will be it until Singapore.
My trip is going well so far. I am full, and at peace.
