The Steemians I do know from Belgium and the Netherlands

Well yesterday I did stumble on a (for me) new fellow Dutch speaking Steemian, namely @soyrosa.
After having some replies back and forward, I did remember that I did had created a list with all the Belgian Steemians I am following.
Too bad, I did not wrote about it earlier but now it is time!

Why?

Well the reason is simple. We cannot ignore the fact tha only the hardcore Steemians are still here and not only here but still bringing value to the Steem Blockchain.
Lots of our feeds are drying up.
So, it is time to share this list with you. Maybe you do find someone worthy to follow!
Because we all need to support each other. Without support the most of us will get nowhere! It is also nice to read stories of people living close to you. It is easier to react on those stories because lots of time there is a connection with a place you know, a situation you also have experienced before and so on!

I do follow around 140 people here and from 20 of those I do know whom are linked to Belgium of the Netherlands!

The list!

BelgiumNetherlands
@bjornb@anouk.nox
@brothermic@bengy
@byebyehamburgers@crypto-econom1st
@costanza@cryptotem
@d0zer@edje
@daan@erikklok
@fullcoverbetting@karinxxl
@kemo16@oaldamster
@romaincrx@soyrosa
@simplymike
@zoef

Well I was thinking about to introduce them all and give the reason why I am following, but I will give you a chance to discover this yourself!

How can we support each other?

Well one thinks immediately about upvoting their posts but there is much more what we can do. Let me give you some examples. And this is valid for all Steemians, not only the ones in this list or living in the low countries.

Follow

When you start to follow somebody, this could indirectly increase the value of their posts.

  • If the Steemian does use busy.org to post their post, it could mean an increase of the upvotes from busy.org or busy.pay. So indirectly you are supporting them financially!
  • If the Steemians did delegate to steem-ua, this could increase their steem-ua ranking, which could mean a little bit bigger upvote from steem-ua.

Comment

Here it becomes really interesting and maybe not known to most!

  • It encourages Steemians to keep on posting and be saved from the burn rate. We all appreciate upvotes but we all do find it great if we get a genuine comment. The both combine is heaven on eath!
  • When it is an actifit post, the height of the upvote from actific is also based on the engagement on the post. So even leaving a small comment without upvoting the post could result in a higher upvote from actifit.
  • The same argument is valid for the steem-ua upvotes.
    So people do engage with each other. At the moment, the value of our upvotes almost has returned to “Dust” but even commenting can be beneficial. Remember that if the people who do engage with you accumulate more Steem Power, this will drip down to yourself!

What’s next

Feel free to add the names of Dutch Speaking Steemians. So that our list gets bigger and bigger!
If you are not for the Netherlands or Belgium but still want to be followed by me, feel free to leave a comment. I will check out your blog and if I do find it interesting I will follow you.
If you feel that there are people in the Steem Blockchain which should be followed, also feel free to drop their names in a comment!
The more friends the better!

Cheers,
Peter

Sort Order:

It sure has been drying up! Happened last time the market was low as well, and when we were booming last Christmas there was so much garbage always being posted on here as well! :D

Both have good sides. It has been long ago that I did see a meme on my feed.
On the other hand, I would like to see more on the feed.
I really believe that only the hardcore believers and addicts are here at the moment, the rest did ran and is not looking back for the moment!

Yeah I think people have sorta forgotten about it and theres a dark cloud overlooking Crypto at the moment. Who knows if we're even at the bottom yet!

Thank you for compiling and sharing this great list! I will spend the rest of the week now checking out and following all these peoples blogs ;-)

So let's assume an actifit post has received 150 comments. It will then get a higher upvote from the actifit account.

Those 150 comments do they need to be below the post before actifit upvotes it?
That would be almost impossible.

Or will the actifit upvote account somehow remember that for all the future upvotes?

Correct with 150 comments you will get a higher upvote.
To get the people time to react, actifit has postponed the own upvote up to 12 to 24 hours after the post has been created.
At least that is how I do understand it.

I took some time but I did find what I was looking for:
You can read the complete post here: https://busy.org/@actifit/actifit-daily-fitbit-integration-almost-ready-increased-post-upvote-wait-time-top-daily-actifitters

But this what explains it.
Increased Post Upvote Wait Time
Following our V2 update, posts are getting rewarded according to a variety of aspects, including the content, amount of upvotes and useful comments the post had received at the time our Actifit bot starts upvoting.
Our bot behavior has been to skip on posts which are less than 1 hour old, to give them a chance to acquire more upvotes and/or comments, to improve their content, or receive a proper moderator review.
Recently we received some suggestions by few actifitters to increase this wait time, to give posts further chance to garner a better reward, especially due to timezone differences.
Accordingly, as of today's upvote session, we increased this wait time to a min of 6 hours per each post, so that any post that is younger than 6 hours, will not be included in today's rewarding round, and will be kept till the next day's rewarding session.
As a result of this change, we will definitely see a drop in tomorrow's voting round, and many posts will be skipped till tomorrow's round. This does DOES NOT mean that any deserving post is not getting a reward, it merely means it will wait a bit longer to give it better chance of more rewards.
Overall, we believe this change will reflect positively on posts. We will keep an eye on behavior, and adjust accordingly if need be.

Thanks a lot!

Almost fully clear. Cause now I wonder what helps best?
1 upvotes?
2 comments?

I think we can be sure the combination works best.

And regarding upvotes what works best?
1a three upvotes for $0.01 per upvote is $0.03 in total.
1b one upvote for $0.15.

And with regards to the comments I wonder if it helps if I wrote 15+ comments below your actifit post?
Or does only the number of different people count?

No idea about that but knock yourself out I would say 😂

Cool post, bedankt voor het delen! Currently I live in Indonesia, but just for a year or two, so I will still count myself as a Nederlander ;-)

Almost all the junk has dried up, unfortunately also the quality posts. I admit, I also started posting less and less. Continue to be a reader though!

Cheers

Once a Dutchie always a Dutchie I guess :)

Thanks for kicking off the list @fullcoverbetting! I have many names to add and I will in my next post where I also announce the next Meet-Up :D I hope to grow this community - and you are right - there are many ways to support each other! :-) Cheers!

Cheers,
Peter

Thx for the list! I was looking for something like this.

Your welcome. Sharing is caring :)
