Welcome to the The Introduceyourself Helpie Curation Incentive #10.

This initiative is supported by @helpie, and conducted by @futuremind.

The purpose of the The Introduceyourself Helpie Curation Incentive is specifically to help new users on the platform, by curating their introduction post.

Most that have been here a while know that it can be pretty difficult getting started. Especially if you don't haven't any way to beef up your Steem power. With the 15SP delegation that many accounts starting have, this isn't enough to perform many account operations without depletion of resource credits. I've seen quite a few accounts with 0 SP, 0 delegation.

Luckily we have some dedicated Steemian's already scouting for new users in this precarious situation. One such Steemian is @simplymike with his

The Introduceyourself Helpie Curation Incentive

I start by searching through the introduceyourself tag under new posts filter. Once I find a post that catches my eye, I will review the account to verify if it's a new user. Then I read the post, while maintaining an open mind to the users description of him/herself. Quality is subjective in how I see things, which means I will select posts even if the users interests don't specifically align with my own.

There's really no stringent guidelines to the selection. Much of the blogging environment comes with learning curves. I can look back on my beginning posts (while cringing) and say pretty confidently that there is indeed quite a bit to learn! So, the posts don't need to be perfect. I'm simply looking for genuine, authentic people, looking for a new space to bring their social experience to.

Once I find a post that I feel is a bit undervalued, I start the oven, and then:

• 100% upvote and resteem with my account @futuremind.
• Curate with some delicious @helpiecake.
• Call in @helpie for some added frosting.
• Send a 1 Steem gift, direct to the users wallet.

Reasons for Selection

• Beautiful grammar and formatting.
• Excellent description of his interests/hobbies/expertise.
• Stunning imagery throughout the post.
• I realized I was smiling halfway through it, which is an indicator that I am really feeling the post!
• It's a fire post, hands down.

This was another easy selection for futuremind. I knew almost instantly I was going to choose it. The self image that you are greeted with in Jeff's post is pretty gripping with the sun rays shining down. I really love this photograph. His upbeat nature and enthusiasm in speaking of blockchain tech was very pleasant to read, his interest in professional video production, journalism, science and tech, was very well written and exciting for me to read. I think Jeff is perfect for our blockchain, so let's be sure we give him this man some welcoming love!
