The Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado is home to the preserved homes of the Ancestral Pueblo humans. Many of those homes, that are carved proper from caves and rock faces, date returned to the early 13th century. Today, it is viable to walk underneath the overhanging cliffs and tour those historic abodes. The Balcony House is especially properly preserved, and it boasts forty rooms which might be reachable exclusively by ladder. The nearby Cliff Palace is even bigger, and it's miles believed to have housed more than one hundred human beings in its one hundred fifty unique rooms.
