1 Thessalonians 4:7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
There's a call upon us all in this world by the Almighty God. Everyone born into the world has been destined to live in holiness through Christ Jesus. No other thing is as important as this. Families shall experience peace, our streets shall be safe, our localities shall be habitable and our nations shall enjoy abundance if the call to holiness is obeyed. Holiness means to love like Christ and refrain from hurting ourselves and others. It's a life of peace with God and humans around us. It is to live a life devoid of wickedness and hatred.
God is against uncleanness of any kind because it's against His agenda or call for man. Today, the Holy Spirit sounds a warning to everyone in this sinful world that through it all, holiness is still expected from us. God has invested more than enough in us through Christ, thus no man is excusable. Let us come back to the place of holiness and love in Christ Jesus. Let us discard hatred, evil, envy, immorality, and all forms of atrocities. Let us cease to hurt others, but love and care about others.
We are called, not unto sin, but holiness at all times and everywhere.
Let's pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father, Father of holiness. Thank you for the privilege to hear from you. Please help us to be holy, destroy every evil in our hearts and create in us a pure heart, in Jesus name. Amen.
