Faithful Steward

And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Luke12:42-43

The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is drawing near. In the parables of Christ about His second coming, one thing is common: the uncertainty of the time. As stewards of God's presence, we must be prepared at all times. Let us not slake in our faith. Let us maintain the first love for God and the brethren. Let us continue to serve God and each other.

Everyone of us is given something to look after. Our gifts, talents and assignments on earth must be guided and executed faithfully. Let us not abuse what God gave to us,for Christ shall come in a time not expected and we shall give account of all we received. Have you received the gift of singing, preaching, evangelism, acts of service, etc? Be faithful in it,for the judge is at the door to reward everyone according to their faithfulness. Don't let life issues discourage you. Don't allow people's attitudes towards your or the things of God to discourage you. Don't live in hatred, but in love.

Blessed are you, when the Master shall find you faithful till the end. There's great rewards awaiting everyone that is faithful to the end. Be encouraged to go on, no matter how tough, for at the end you shall rejoice.

Let's pray together. Abba Father, thank you for the gifts and calling you bestowed upon us. Please strengthen us to be faithful stewards to the end, in Jesus name. Amen.
