Nepal's six-member committee to probe the cause of the crash

A six-member probe committee has been constituted to probe the crash of the US-Bangla Airlines flight at Nepal's Tribhuvan Airport.
The Nepalese Prime Minister's Office said that the decision was taken at a meeting of the ministers in presence of the country's Prime Minister on Monday (March 12th), Nepalese media said.

The committee will work under the leadership of former Director General of Civil Aviation Authority of India Yajna Prasad Gautam. The committThe committee started work on Tuesday (March 13th).

Lieutenant Colonel Dr. RRajiv Dev, Capt KK Sharma, Sunil Pradhan and Sivab Prasad Subedi were made members of the inquiry committee.

Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Buddhi Sagar Lamachhe has been nominated as Member Secretary of the panel.

The cabinet has asked the inquiry committee to submit a report quickly.

Nepal Civil Aviation Authority has been informed that the concerned authorities are always in touch with the Bangladesh authorities.
